It’s that time of year again- Browns fans everywhere are filled with excitement and optimism for the future of our favorite team.  Let’s be honest though… for the past twelve years, the excitement has quickly turned to concern,  followed by depression,  at the state of our beloved Browns.  This time, however, I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel…this time, we finally might be moving in the right direction.

I really think we have more talent on both sides of the ball than we ever have since our return- on O we have Thomas, Mack, Richardson, Little, Gordon, Cameron, hopefully Schwartz, and on D we have Taylor, Sheard, hopefully Hughes and Wynn, Jackson, Haden, and Ward.  There is hope; yes, our schedule is tough but even if we finish 6-10 but actually show an NFL-level offense, I’ll be pleased.

With Pittsburgh and Baltimore aging and Cincy overrated, the division will be wide open in the years ahead.  With one more solid draft, the impossible might become reality in the near future:  the Cleveland Browns as division champs!  As for the Super Bowl, let’s just take baby steps for now…
